Post 20. The Abodes of the Dead of the Spiritual Realm (The Creation, Volume I: Chapter 4, Subhead 3)

The Abodes of the Dead of the Spiritual Realm (Post 20. CVIC4S3)

Before beginning the discussion of the abodes of the dead from the point of view of Christian and Judaic eschatology, these abodes will first be discussed from the point of view of the spiritual realm as that realm is understood in The Creation.  In this regard, the abodes of the dead of the spiritual realm, it is believed, occupy two separate, small areas within the vastness of the positive spherical enclosures and the negative spherical enclosures that comprise the spiritual realm.  One of these areas is the location of the Christian hell (Greek Hades) or the Jewish Sheol (Greek Hades).  These abodes of the dead are the same, having different names in Christianity and Judaism.  Hell, or Sheol, has two parts:  one part is inhabited by the soul-spirits of the righteous dead, and is part of the positive spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm; the other part is inhabited by the soul-spirits of the unrighteous dead, and is part of the negative spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm.  The abode of the righteous dead is also inhabited by the godly spirits, and accompanying dominion spirits, of the righteous dead soul-spirits that dwell here.  In addition, it is associated with the part of the spiritual realm, where the principality angels that serve the Creator dwell.  The abode of the unrighteous dead is also inhabited by the satanic spirits, and accompanying dominion spirits, of the unrighteous dead soul-spirits that dwell here.  In addition, it is associated with the part of the spiritual realm, where the principality angels that serve Satan dwell.

The other small area within the vastness of the positive spherical enclosures and the negative spherical enclosures that comprise the spiritual realm that is an abode of the dead is the abode referred to in Christian eschatology as heaven, or paradise (the Christian paradise in contrast to the Jewish paradise).  This abode of the dead exists in the positive spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm and is inhabited by the soul-spirits of the righteous dead of the church of Jesus Christ, and others.  This abode of the dead is also inhabited by the godly spirits, and accompanying dominion spirits, of the righteous dead soul-spirits that dwell here.  In addition, it is associated with the part of the spiritual realm, where the principality angels that serve the Creator dwell.  Finally, it may be noted that the abode of the dead, referred to above as heaven, exists at a higher intrinsic energy level within the spiritual realm than the abode of the dead, referred to above as hell, or Sheol.  The subject of the abodes of the dead of the spiritual realm will be discussed in greater detail in Volume IV of The Creation

Prior to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, apparently, only one of the two abodes of the dead of the spiritual realm was in use, and  this was known in Judaism as Sheol (Greek hades) (Ps. 16:10-11).  Later, this place became known in Christianity as hell (Greek hades) (Lk. 16:23).  Also, prior to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the soul-spirits of all the dead were taken to Sheol.  As noted above, it appears that Sheol consisted of two parts. One of these was the abode of the righteous dead, and the other was the abode of the unrighteous dead.  In Judaism, the former was called paradise (Lk. 23:43) and the latter was called Gehenna (Jer. 19:1).  During his first advent on earth, Jesus Christ, it is believed, referred to the two parts of Sheol using new terms for these abodes.   In the parable, or story, of the “the rich man and Lazarus” (Lk. 16: 19-31) Jesus Christ refers to the abode of the righteous dead as Abraham’s bosom (Lk. 16:22) and the abode of the unrighteous dead as torments (Lk. 16:23).  In The Creation, these two terms are considered to be the Christian equivalent of the Jewish paradise and Gehenna of Sheol.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, no longer did the soul-spirits of all the dead go to Sheol, or hell, of the spiritual realm.   A new abode of the dead of the spiritual realm came into use, which is known in Christianity as paradise (2 Cor. 12:14) or heaven (2 Cor. 12:2).   Jesus Christ, it is believed, was the first to enter this new paradise (of Christianity), leading a group of soul-spirits of the righteous dead that formerly dwelt in the old paradise (of Judaism) (Ps. 68:18; Eph. 4:7-10).  It is for this reason that Jesus Christ descended into hell following his death and before his resurrection (Mt. 12:40).  After the entry of this group of soul-spirits into the new paradise, the latter would become the abode of the dead for the soul-spirits of the righteous dead of the church of Jesus Christ.  These righteous dead, when alive, would have referred to this abode of the dead as heaven, and they would have referred to the abode of the unrighteous dead as hell.  However, it must be remembered that hell actually has two parts, one where the righteous dead dwell, and another where the unrighteous dead dwell.  Therefore, the Christian view that the soul-spirits of the unrighteous dead are taken to hell must be modified to mean the part of hell where the soul-spirits of the unrighteous dead dwell-the abode that Jesus Christ referred to as torments.

Therefore, in Christian eschatology two abodes of the dead presently exist in the spiritual realm of the creation, and in Christianity it is believed that the soul-spirits of all the dead go to these two abodes.  These are referred to in Christian eschatology as heaven, or paradise (the Christian paradise) and hell, with the latter having two parts.  These are called Abraham’s bosom and torments.  In Judaic eschatology Sheol is equivalent to hell, and in Judaism it is believed that the soul-spirits of all the dead are taken to Sheol.   In Judaism, Sheol has two parts. These are called paradise (the Jewish paradise) and Gehenna.   All the soul-spirits dwelling in the abodes of the dead of the spiritual realm will be resurrected by Jesus Christ in the day of the Lord.  Christian eschatology reveals that this will occur at the beginning of that day, following the second advent of Jesus Christ on earth in that day, and probably at the conclusion of the kingdom age/millennium in that day.  The resurrection of the dead will also be accompanied by judgments with Jesus Christ serving as judge (Dan. 12:1-3; Mt. 25:14-46; 2 Cor. 5:9-10; Rev. 20:11-15).  These judgments, apparently, are part of the Creator’s plan and purpose for the creation and the life that dwells therein for determining who will dwell in the kingdom of God of the new heaven and new earth in the future age, and who will dwell in the lake of fire in that age.   Therefore, the resurrections associated with these judgments are appropriately referred to in the Bible as the “resurrection of life” (Jn. 5:29) and the “resurrection of damnation” (Jn. 5:29).

Post 19. The Soul-Spirit of Man and Other Living Entities That Dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy (The Creation, Volume I: Chapter 4, Subhead 2)

The Soul-Spirit of Man and Other Living Entities That Dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy (Post 19. CVIC4S2)

As we have seen, man and the other living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations that dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy possess a soul-spirit nature.  This is true regardless of whether man and the living entities, referred to above, serve the Creator or serve Satan.  Man and these other living entities, in their histories as separate species, did not always possess a soul-spirit nature.  Apparently, there comes a time in the development of life on a planet, when the Creator recognizes that most individuals of a certain line, or species, have attained a sufficient level of intelligence to receive God-consciousness.  At this time certain individuals of the species, it is believed, receive a spirit and possess a soul-spirit nature.  They also possess at this time, it is believed, a degree of God-consciousness.   Presumably, this event took place long ago in the evolution of the living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations, and in the case of the most ancient of these-billions of years ago.

As for man, this event, it is believed, was more complicated than that of the living entities, mentioned above, because not only was there a created-evolutionary line, or species, that eventually received a spirit and came to possess a soul-spirit nature;  but before this,  there was a created man, referred to as Adam in the Bible (Gen. 2:7), who  received a soul-spirit and possessed a soul-spirit nature, also.  This created man was the first of the species Homo sapiens sapiens, or modern man, and came into existence about 400,000 B.C.  Until recently, archaeologists had not discovered fossils of the created line of man and his descendants, except as these descendants are revealed in the fossil record after one of Adam’s descendants of the created line of man married an individual of the created-evolutionary line of man.  This took place about 200,000 B.C., and resulted in individuals of the created-evolutionary line to begin to receive a spirit and possess a soul-spirit nature.  But in 2012, eight fossilized teeth were found in a cave near Tel-Aviv, Israel, which are believed to be between 300,000 and 400,000 years old.  These teeth are very similar to those of Homo sapiens sapiens and may belong to modern man's oldest human ancestors.  If so, then these oldest human ancestors may have been descendants of Adam, who, it is believed, was created by the Creator as the first of the species, Homo sapiens sapiens on earth about 400,000 B.C.

The created-evolutionary line of man began its existence on earth as a simple form of life. This form of life was created by a manifestation of the spoken word by the Son (the Word) about 4,000,000,000 B.C., and subsequently evolved and differentiated into many lines of living creatures.  This, it is believed, was assisted by the guiding hand and the creative power of the Creator.  The latter was particularly important in making possible the mutation of genomes of life forms on earth in order that these life forms, eventually, would fulfill his purpose and plan for the creation and the life that dwells therein.  The created-evolutionary line of man evolved to the species Homo sapiens sapiens, or modern man, about 200,000 B.C.  At this time, apparently, the Creator considered the level of intelligence of this line to be comparable to that of the created line of man that was initiated by Adam.  Therefore, the Creator, about 200,000 B.C. caused a marriage to take place between a man of the created line of man, who was a descendent of Adam, and a woman of the created-evolutionary line of man.  As a result, one or more of the offspring of this marriage, it is believed, received a spirit and came to possess a soul-spirit nature.  These offspring, it is believed, received their spirit sometime between the time of their conception and birth-perhaps even at the very moment of conception.  The mother of these offspring, it is believed, received a spirit, also,  and so came to possess a soul-spirit nature, also.  This may have taken place at the time of the latter’s marriage to her husband.  The father of these offspring, of course, was a descendent of Adam and already possessed a soul-spirit, and a soul-spirit nature, at this time.

A pattern was established, it is believed, whereby, if at least one of the marriage partners of the created-evolutionary line of man (and that part of the created line of man that was joined to it through marriage) possessed a soul-spirit nature, it was possible for marriages involving the created-evolutionary line of man (and that part of the created line of man that was joined to through marriage) to produce offspring that received a spirit and, therefore,  possessed a soul-spirit nature.  However, not all offspring of these marriages received a spirit, and a soul-spirit nature.  The universal granting by the Creator of a spirit and a soul-spirit nature for all offspring of man, it is believed, did not take place until rather recently, and may have coincided with the time of the birth of the Hebrew patriarch, Abraham, of the  Bible.

The question may be asked at this time, what exactly is the soul-spirit and how does the soul and the spirit, referred to in The Creation, relate to the “body,” spirit,” and “soul,” referred to by Paul in 1 Thes. 5:23?  In 1 Thes. 5:23 we read:

                           23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body
be preserved blameless unto the coming of our
                           Lord Jesus Christ.

With regard to the passage above, the term, “soul,” it is believed, refers to the soul of the soul-spirit, and can be considered to be the mind of a person that possesses a soul-spirit.  The term, “whole spirit,” it is believed, refers to the two components of the spirit of a soul-spirit, that is, the principality spirit and the dominion spirit, of a person that possesses a soul-spirit; and the “body,” it is believed, refers to the material body of a person that possesses  a soul-spirit.  Some may feel that the term, soul, should be used to describe that part of man that lives on after death, and as such is a spiritual body of some kind.

However, in The Creation, the soul is considered to be the mind of a person, including all his memories-both conscious and subconscious.  These memories, it is believed, are the result of the electrical activity of the brain.  Because of the association of the soul, or mind, of a person that possesses a soul-spirit with the principality spirit, and possibly the dominion spirit, these memories are retained by the principality spirit and possibly the dominion spirit, as well.  The soul, or mind, it is believed, comprises the only part of the person that lives on after death, but, it does so only by virtue of its association with the principality spirit of the spirit of his soul-spirit.  The soul, or mind, in this regard, can be viewed as  the affections, emotions , and will of man, as these exist as part of the memories of the mind of a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit (Mt. 11:29; Jn. 12:27). Because spiritual living entities, such as principality angels and dominion angels are eternal and cannot die, the principality spirit and dominion spirit that comprise the spirit of a soul-spirit are eternal and cannot die, also.  The memories of the soul, or mind, of a person that possesses a soul-spirit nature, when associated with these spirits, can be considered eternal, as well, or, at least, are capable of being so if this is what the Creator desires. This is not the case when a creature that does not possess a soul-spirit nature dies.  When it dies, its soul, or mind, ceases to exist and the creature can be considered to be altogether dead.

Earlier, it was stated that the spirit of a soul-spirit consists of a component, or portion, of a  principality angel and dominion angel that dwell in the spiritual realm and the new spiritual realm, respectively.  Both of these spirits serve the Creator, and, it is believed, begin to dwell with a person or other living entity (that the Creator foreknew would possess a soul-spirit), at the time of conception.  However, there is another component, or portion, of a principality angel that is involved, which dwells in the spiritual realm and serves Satan.  This spirit, it is believed, begins to dwell with a person, or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit, at the time of birth.  In The Creation, the principality spirit that serves the Creator is sometimes referred to as the godly spirit, while the principality spirit that serves Satan is sometimes referred to as the satanic spirit.

During the lifetime of a person from birth to death, his soul, or mind, is influenced by the godly spirit and the satanic spirit that is associated with it.  The godly and satanic spirit, apparently, strive to lead the person to whom they belong to accept the Creator in the person of the Holy Spirit or to reject the Creator in the Person of the Holy Spirit.  If at the time of the death of the person, the latter had accepted the Holy Spirit sometime in his life, and strived to obey his influence after acceptance, his soul-spirit (with the exception of the satanic spirit), it is believed, is taken by his godly spirit to the abode of the dead located in the positive spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm.  This is where the principality angels that serve the Creator dwell.  If, however, at the time of the death of the person, the latter had not accepted the Holy Spirit, and did not strive to obey his influence, his soul-spirit (with the exception of the godly spirit), it is believed, is taken by his satanic spirit to the abode of the dead located in the negative spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm.  This is where the principality angels that serve Satan dwell.  The names of the abodes of the dead that exist in the positive spherical enclosures and the negative spherical enclosures of the spiritual realm, in terms of Christian and Judaic nomenclature, will be discussed at the conclusion of the chapter.

The dominion spirit, it is believed, is not involved in this spiritual struggle by the two principality spirits for the soul, or mind, of the person that possesses a soul-spirit.  The role of this spirit in the life of a person that possesses a soul-spirit nature may become more important after the death of the person to whom it belongs.  One role that the dominion spirit may play in the life of a person that possesses a soul-spirit may be to provide a third witness (Dt. 19:15; 2 Cor. 13:1), in addition to those of the two competing principality spirits, to verify the facts of the person’s life, when he stands in judgment before Jesus Christ following the latter’s second advent.  The soul-spirit of the person, of course, will have been joined with his resurrected body prior to his judgment.

Still another role that the dominion spirit may play in the life of a person that possesses a soul-spirit may not be realized until the future age.  Because the dominion angels dwell in the outer spherical enclosures of the new spiritual realm, and this is located in the outer region of the creation, where the kingdom of God of the new heaven and new earth will exist in the future age, it is possible that redeemed man, in order to dwell here in that age, will require a spiritual body that is similar to that presently possessed by the dominion angels.  Therefore, the dominion spirit may represent the spiritual body of a redeemed person or another spiritually saved living entity that possesses a soul-spirit in that age (1 Cor. 15:40-44).

Perhaps, this spiritual body could be called a new spiritual body because the dominion spirit associated with the soul-spirit of the redeemed person or other spiritually saved living entity is a component of a dominion angel dwelling in the new spiritual realm.  Because the soul-spirit of a redeemed person or other spiritually saved living entity, in the future age, will be associated with a principality spirit, which is a component of a principality angel dwelling in the spiritual realm, it is possible that the person or living entity, mentioned above, will be capable of possessing a spiritual body, as well as a new spiritual body.  The spiritual body, presumably, would exist at a lower level of intrinsic energy than the new spiritual body.   And because the soul-spirit of a redeemed person or other spiritually saved living entity, in the future age, will be associated with a resurrected material body, which is derived from the material realm, it is possible that the person or living entity, mentioned above, will be capable of possessing a material body (incapable of death), as well as a spiritual body and a new spiritual body.  The material body, presumably, would exist at a lower level of intrinsic energy than the spiritual body and the spiritual body would exist at a lower level of intrinsic energy than the new spiritual body.  These three levels of intrinsic energy may be useful in making contact with living creatures that will exist at various degrees of God-consciousness in the kingdom of God in the future age, or as the latter is referred to in Christian eschatology-the age to come (Mt. 12:31-32).

We have attempted to answer the question posed earlier in this chapter, what exactly is the soul-spirit and how does the soul and spirit referred to in The Creation relate to the soul, spirit and body referred to by Paul in 1 Thes. 5:23. We shall conclude this discussion by addressing this question from the point of view of the Hebrew and Greek words used in the Bible that pertain to the soul, spirit, and body.  The New Testament term for soul (Greek psuche) is identical in meaning to the Old Testament term for soul (Hebrew nephesh) (Dt. 6:5; 1 Sam. 18:1).  Both of these terms refer to a material, living creature, but more specifically, they can be viewed as referring to the mind of a material, living creature.  This definition, it is believed, applies to all creatures that possess a brain, and, therefore, possess a mind. However, only people or other living entities that possesses a spirit, possess a soul-spirit, and, therefore, possess a soul-spirit nature.   In The Creation, it is believed that only the mind (soul) of a person lives on after death, and it does so only by virtue of its association with the principality spirit of the spirit of his soul-spirit.  The New Testament term for spirit (Greek pneuma) is identical in meaning to the Old Testament term for spirit (Hebrew ruach) (Gen. 41:8; 1 Cor. 5:5).  Both of these terms refer to the spiritual life associated with a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit.  This life is manifested though the principality spirits and, possibly the dominion spirit, that comprise the spirit of the soul-spirit of that person or living entity.  It is the spirit that knows the Creator’s desire and will, and enables a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit to have God-consciousness (1 Cor. 2:11; Job 32:8).

However, in another context, and in a much larger sense, the spiritual life of a person, or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit, involves the presence (or absence) of the Holy Spirit dwelling with, or within, that person or other living entity.  The principality spirit, or godly spirit, that serves the Creator, and is associated with the spirit of a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit, presumably, strives to facilitate the Holy Spirit dwelling with, or within, that person or other living entity.  Similarly, the principality spirit, or satanic spirit, that serves Satan, and is associated with the spirit of a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit, presumably, strives to prevent the Holy Spirit from dwelling with, or within, that person or other living entity.  The presence of the Holy Spirit with the soul-spirit of a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit is necessary for that person, or other living entity, to be counted among the redeemed, or spiritually saved, respectively, in the future age.

As for the body of a person or other living entity that possesses a soul-spirit nature, the body is buried a material body, or soul body (Greek soma psuchikon) (1 Cor. 15:44), and is resurrected a spiritual body (Greek soma pneumatikon).  The soul body referred to above, it is believed, refers to the material body of a deceased person, but does not include the only part of that person’s body capable of surviving death-his mind.  The spiritual body referred to above, it is believed, refers to the spiritual body of a resurrected person, and includes his soul, or mind, his principality spirit (either a godly spirit or a satanic spirit) and his dominion spirit. These will dwell within a resurrected, material body that could be considered to be a spiritual body (or a new spiritual body), but one that is capable of existing at a three different levels of intrinsic energy:  the new spiritual level, the spiritual level, and the material level in the age to come (Mt. 12:31-32).  Therefore, this spiritual body is not, merely a spiritual body.  Nor is it merely a resurrected material body.   It is a spiritual, resurrected material body that is capable expressing  attributes associated with all three realms of the creation, from which the spiritual, resurrected material body is derived.

With regard to the spiritual, resurrected bodies of redeemed mankind and the spiritually saved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations, dwelling in the kingdom of God in the age to come, these will also possess an indwelling Holy Spirit. This, it is believed, is sufficient to identify the spiritual-material resurrected bodies of these as glorified (Jn. 7:37-39; Rom. 8:16-17; Col. 1:27).  However, with regard to the spiritual, resurrected bodies of unredeemed mankind and the spiritually unsaved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations, dwelling in the lake of fire in the age to come, these will not possess an indwelling Holy Spirit.  This, it is believed, is sufficient to identify the spiritual, resurrected bodies of these as not glorified.

The dominion spirits of the soul-spirits of the redeemed of mankind and the spiritually saved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations would, of course, be expected to dwell with the spiritual, resurrected bodies of those, mentioned above, in the kingdom of God in the age to come.  However, what will become of the dominion spirits of the soul-spirits of the unredeemed of mankind and the spiritually unsaved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations?  Will they continue to dwell with the spiritual, resurrected bodies of those who will be cast into in the lake of fire in the age to come?  In The Creation, it is assumed that this will not take place, and that sometime during the resurrections and judgments that follow the second advent of Jesus Christ on earth, the dominion spirits of the soul-spirits of unredeemed mankind and the spiritually unsaved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations will be separated from the soul-spirits of these, and used for other purposes in the new spiritual realm in the kingdom of God in the future age.

It may be noted that unlike the principality angels and power angels, the dominion angels, apparently, were not involved in the angelic war of the past age.  All of these serve the Creator and none serve Satan.  In addition, all of these angels dwell in the outer spherical enclosures of the new spiritual realm (a subrealm that is compatible with the matter universe of the material realm); and none of these angels dwell in the inner spherical enclosures of the new spiritual realm (a subrealm that is compatible with the antimatter universe of the material realm).   Like the antimatter universe of the material realm, no life is believed to exist in the inner spherical enclosures of the new spiritual realm.

Commentary

In Christianity, it is not uncommon to refer to the soul as that part of a person that lives on after the death of the body.  Jesus Christ's use of the word in Mt. 10:28 seems to support for this view.  Mt. 10:28 reads:

28  And fear not them which kill the body, but
are not able to kill the soul:  but rather fear him
which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

In The Creation, the soul is believed to be-in essence-the mind of a person, and the only part of a person that lives on after death.  Although every person with a soul-spirit nature will possess a resurrected body in the day of the Lord of the present age, and continue to possess one in the age to come (Mt. 12:31-32), there is a period of time following the death of a person until he is provided a resurrected body in the day of the Lord, when he is not in possession of a body, that is, his soul, or mind, is separated from his body.

In the above passage, Jesus Christ implies that it is possible to kill the body, but not the soul.  If the soul is considered to be the mind of a person in association with his spirit (which is comprised of a component of a principality angel and a dominion angel), then it is true the soul cannot be killed because spiritual angels, such as principality and dominion angels are eternal.  They live forever.  And if a person's mind is associated with these angels, or spirits, it likewise can be considered to be eternal, also.

In the above passage, Jesus Christ also states that man should "fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" The "him" in this passage is believed to be Jesus Christ and the hell referred to in this passage is the Greek geenna which is equivalent to the Hebrew Gehenna, or the lake of fire (Rev. 20:19).  This is the place of eternal punishment of the wicked in the day of the Lord and the age to come, whose names are not written in the book of life (Rev.20:11-15).  It may appear from this passage that the bodies  and souls of the wicked who will dwell in the lake of fire in the age to come will, eventually, be destroyed, and therefore the punishment of those dwelling in this place is not eternal.  However, the view taken in The Creation is that the words, "able to destroy" is a reference to the power of Jesus Christ during the judgments in the day of the Lord to assign those whose names are not found written in the book of life to the lake of fire.  This is the second death (Jn. 8:21; Rev. 20:14), and can be considered a spiritual death to all that experience it.

Moreover, the second death that is experienced by one, whose name is not written in the book of life,  may also concern the component of the dominion angel that is part of the spirit of that person's soul-spirit.  This dominion spirit may be the last angelic presence of the Creator that will depart the person's soul-spirit, when the person is taken to his place in the lake of fire.  Because this person is an unredeemed person, his satanic (principality) spirit rather than his godly (principality) spirit is united with his soul, or mind.  Therefore, the dominion spirit that is part of the spirit of his soul-spirit may be the last angelic presence of the Creator that the person will experience after he arrives at the lake of fire to dwell there, eternally.  Furthermore, it is likely that this dominion angel will be the angel that will take the person to his place in the lake of fire.  Here, the dominion angel will separate from him and return to the outer spherical enclosures of the new spiritual realm, where he will dwell, eternally, in the kingdom of God in the future age.  The separation at this time by the person assigned to the lake of fire from the goodness and mercy of the Creator in the presence of the dominion angel that has just separated from him, could be viewed as the actual moment of the second death (Jn. 8:21; Rev. 20:14) of the person.  Perhaps, the dominion angel's final words to the person in that day will be the warning of Jesus Christ, above, "fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" (Mt 10:28), though it will be too late for warnings at that time.

The Four Finite Realms of the Creation and the Life That Dwells Therein (Post 18. CVIC4S1)

So far in Volume I of The Creation, the discussion of the finite realms of the creation has largely been limited to the material realm and the mystical realm (Figure 9).   Each of these two realms is comprised of two dichotomous continuums.  The two continuums of the material realm are referred to in The Creation as the matter and antimatter universe sub-realms, or the matter and antimatter universes.  The two continuums of the mystical realm are referred to in The Creation as the south and north spherical enclosure sub-realms, or the south and north spherical enclosures.  In addition, the south spherical enclosures of the mystical realm are related to, and compatible with, the matter universe of the material realm; while the north spherical enclosures of the mystical realm are related to, and compatible to the antimatter universe of the material realm.  It is from the south spherical enclosures of the mystical realm that the four primary mystical particles associated with mystical technology originate.  This is true regardless of whether these particles possess a chirality of left-handedness or right-handedness.

As we shall see in Chapter 5, left-handed chirality results in what is referred to in The Creation as left-handed mystical technology, while right-handed chirality results in what is referred to in The Creation as right-handed mystical technology.  As noted above, mystical technology, for the most part, can be adequately explained with reference to only the material realm and the mystical realm, along with the two chiralities, mentioned above.  However, two other finite realms exist in the creation, also.  These are referred to in The Creation as the spiritual realm and the new spiritual realm (Figure 9).  All four of the realms, mentioned above, are finite realms.  In addition to the four finite realms, two infinite, or quasi-infinite, features are also believed to exist in the creation.   These are referred to in The Creation, simply, as the Son Zone and the Holy Spirit Zone (Figure 9).  Click on the picture and accompanying key to enlarge each.   Both the finite realms and the infinite features of the creation will be discussed in greater detail in Volume IV of The Creation.  In this chapter only a brief overview of these realms and features will be
attempted.

With regard to the four finite realms of the creation, the symbolism of inspired sources reveals that one of these realms is material and the other three are spiritual.  The material realm is referred to in The Creation, simply, as the material realm, and is comprised of a matter universe, in which man and other material living entities dwell, and an antimatter universe, in which, it is believed, no living entities dwell.  The three spiritual realms are referred to in The Creation as the mystical realm, the spiritual realm, and the new spiritual realm.  The spiritual realm and the new spiritual realm, like the material realm and the mystical realm, are believed to be comprised of two dichotomous continuums.  The two continuums of the spiritual realm are referred to in The Creation as the positive and negative spherical enclosure sub-realms, or the positive and negative spherical enclosures; while the two continuums of the new spiritual realm are referred to in The Creation as the outer and inner spherical enclosure sub-realms, or the outer and inner spherical enclosures.

Within each of the three spiritual realms dwell spiritual living entities that are referred to in The Creation as angels.  These spiritual angels are indigenous to the three spiritual realms, mentioned above, and should be distinguished from material angels, who are indigenous to the matter universe of the material realm.  At first, it may seem strange that a spiritual realm can be considered finite, especially when other features in the creation, such as the Son Zone and the Holy Spirit Zone, which are also referred to in The Creation as spiritual, are infinite.  This paradox can be explained if one considers the three finite spiritual realms to have a finite particulate nature, while the two infinite features, referred to above, do not.  In this regard, because the material realm has a finite particulate nature, it, too, is finite, as well.

The differences in the finite nature of the four finite realms can be explained, it is believed, by the size of the elementary particles that comprise those realms.  In the case of the material realm, the elementary particles that comprise that realm are too large to allow the material realm to be a spiritual realm.  However, this is not the case with the elementary particles that comprise the three spiritual realms. The elementary particles of the latter, it is believed, are small enough to allow these realms to be spiritual realms.  But though all three of these realms are spiritual, they are not all alike. The reason for this, it is believed, is that the elementary particles that comprise each realm are of different size.  Based on the size of these elementary particles, a “degree of spirituality” can be assigned to these three realms. In this regard, the mystical realm, possessing the least spirituality, occupies the lowest intrinsic energy niche; the spiritual realm, possessing an intermediate spirituality, occupies the intermediate intrinsic energy niche; and the new spiritual realm, possessing the highest spirituality, occupies the highest intrinsic energy niche of the three spiritual realms.  The material realm, on the other hand, does not possess a degree of spirituality, and so is not a spiritual realm.  It possesses the largest elementary particles of the four finite realms.  As a result, the material realm occupies the lowest intrinsic energy niche of all four of the finite realms of the creation.

All the elementary particles of the three finite spiritual realms are believed to have been derived from the destruction of a primitive creation in the past age.  Although the elementary particles of the material realm could be said to have been derived from this primitive creation in the past age, also, these more recently owe their present properties to the big bangs of the two universes of that realm that took place at different times in the present age.  The two infinite features of the creation, that is, the Son Zone and the Holy Spirit Zone, were not destroyed in the destruction of the primitive creation.  Therefore, they possess the same properties in the present creation in the present age as they did in the primitive creation in the past age.  Their non particulate nature, it is believed, enables them to be divine, spiritual, infinite features in the present age, just as they were in the past age, and, presumably, will continue to be in the in the future age. These two divine, spiritual, infinite features can be contrasted to the three non divine, spiritual, finite realms, mentioned above.  Because the Son Zone and the Holy Spirit Zone possess attributes of deity, these infinite features can also be viewed as the “official” place of residence of the Son (the Word) and the Holy Spirit, respectively, within the creation.   As such, they can be considered to be manifestations of the Creator in the creation.  In the same vein, the three finite, spiritual realms and the finite, material realm can be considered to be, simply, manifestations of the creation.

Although it is the material realm and the mystical realm that are largely involved in mystical technology, the other two realms of the creation, that is, the spiritual realm and the new spiritual realm, obviously must have a purpose in the Creator’s plan and purpose for the creation and the life that dwells therein.  As we shall see, the purpose of these two realms in the present age concerns not only man, but other material living entities dwelling in the Milky Way Galaxy, who, like man, possess a soul-spirit nature.  Two kinds of angels inhabit the spiritual realm and the new spiritual realm.  These are referred to in The Creation as principality angels and dominion angels, respectively. These angels, it is believed, play a role in the salvation of man, and the spiritual salvation of other living entities who dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy.  These angels, it is believed, are the origin of two components-one from a principality angel and one from a dominion angel-that comprise the spirit of the soul-spirit of a member of mankind dwelling on earth in the present age.  This, it is believed, is also true for other living entities who dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy, and possess a soul-spirit nature, as well.

As for the soul of the soul-spirit, in The Creation, this is considered to be the mind of a person or another living entity that possesses a soul-spirit nature.  In some way not completely understood at this time, the electrical activity originating from the brain of living entities (that is, all creatures that possess a brain) is capable of producing the mind of that living entity.  In the case of man and other living entities that possess a soul-spirit, the soul, or mind, of these, it is believed, is capable of developing an association with the principality spirit, and possibly the dominion spirit, that comprises the spirit of his soul-spirit.  Although both the principality spirit and the dominion spirit comprise the spirit of a soul-spirit, it is the principality spirit, not the dominion spirit, that possesses the more intimate association with the soul, or mind, of a person or another living entity that possesses a soul-spirit nature, at least, in the present age.

The spiritual angels who inhabit the mystical realm are referred to in The Creation as power angels.  There, apparently, is no divine, sanctioned authority for a power angel, or a component of a power angel, to associate with the soul, or mind, of a person, who possesses a soul-spirit and dwells on earth at the present time.  However, it once was possible for a component of a power angel to engage in unauthorized activity of this kind (Mk.1:21-28).  In Christianity, this activity is referred to as demon possession.   Although power angels, apparently, are not involved in the high calling concerning the salvation of man and the spiritual salvation of other living entities that possess a soul-spirit nature, inspired sources reveal that they are employed in several important operations of mystical technology.  Among these are electromagnetic supersymmetric propulsion and space travel by means of a technological wormhole.

As noted above, each of the three spiritual realms of the creation are inhabited by spiritual living entities, called angels.   These are spiritual angels.   In addition, the matter universe of the material realm is also inhabited by material, living entities, called angels.  However, these are material angels.  Most would agree that the spiritual, living entities dwelling in the spiritual realms of the creation should be called angels. These spiritual, living entities, or angels, are mentioned frequently in the Bible (Ps. 104:1-4; Heb. 1:14).  However, few would agree that some material, living entities dwelling in the matter universe of the material realm should be called angels, also.  But as we shall see, the Creator, apparently, has sanctioned this. These material angels, it is believed, are identical to the living entities who are the members of the advanced interstellar civilizations that presently dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy.  These material angels are also mentioned in the Bible (Gen. 19:1-5; Acts. 1:10-11).  However, it is not always clear in the passages of the Bible whether a spiritual angel or a material angel is meant.  The question may now be asked, how can the Creator consider material living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations to be material angels?

The symbolism of inspired sources reveals that living entities of advanced interstellar civilizations employ an operation of mystical technology that enables them to live many, consecutive life-spans for long periods of time.  This operation of mystical technology is referred to in The Creation as spiritual cloning.  As a result of spiritual cloning, these living entities possess a kind of immortality that is referred to in The Creation as limited immortality.  The possession of limited immortality by these living entities, and the long life similarities between the limited immortality of these living entities and the absolute immortality of spiritual angels, apparently, makes it possible for the Creator to consider the members of advanced interstellar civilizations as material angels.

As we have seen, at the present time, some of the material angels serve the Creator and some serve Satan.  But how did this come about?  How does an advanced interstellar civilization become segregated into two allegiance groups-one that serves the Creator and another that serves Satan?  It should be noted that this process of segregation probably is largely complete by the time an advanced stellar civilization becomes an advanced interstellar civilization.  Apparently, what originally begins as one advanced planetary civilization of mixed allegiance (for each of the species of living entities that will produce an advanced interstellar civilization), over the course of time gradually develops into two advanced civilizations, which, in turn, develop into two advanced interstellar civilizations-one that serves the Creator, and another that serves Satan.  This does not mean that changes of allegiances cannot take place among the living entities of advanced civilizations or advanced interstellar civilizations. However, the transfer of living entities from one allegiance group to another allegiance group may involve a covert defection on the part of those desiring to transfer.  This, in turn, may involve the commandeering of one or more spaceships by the defectors.  It is not known, for certain, to what extent the Creator is involved in this activity.

We have discussed the spiritual angels of the mystical realm, the spiritual realm, and the new spiritual realm, and have referred to them as power angels, principality angels, and dominion angels.  We have also discussed the material angels of the material realm, but did not use a name, or title, in referring to these.  The names for the three kinds of spiritual angels and the one kind of material angel that inhabit the four finite realms of the creation, it is believed,  are mentioned, by the Apostle Paul in Col. 1:16.  In Col. 1:10-17, he writes:

10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
                          knowledge of God;
11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious
                          power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet
to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness , and
hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even
                          the forgiveness of sins:
15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of
                          every creature:
16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven,
and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things
were created by him, and for him:
17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Therefore, in addition to the three kinds of spiritual angels that are referred to in Col. 1:16, the names of which are used in The Creation, that is, dominions, principalities, and powers, there is also a fourth kind of angel mentioned in Col. 1:16, that is, thrones, and this is the name used in The Creation for the material angels of the matter universe of the material realm.

Commentary

In this chapter, Chapter 4 (Posts 18-20), we will discuss the infinite features and finite realms of the creation, the soul-spirit of man and other living entities who dwell in the Milky Way Galaxy, and the abodes of the dead in the spiritual realm.

With regard to the subject of thrones angels, the view taken in The Creation is that the living entities of advanced civilizations and advanced interstellar civilizations are considered by the Creator to be material angels.  The Scripture, referred to above, that is. Col. 1:16, appears to support that view.  This is not the only place in the Bible, where material living entities dwelling in the matter universe of the material realm are referred to as angels.  In Rev. 19:20 and Rev. 22:8-9, John, the writer of the book of Revelation, is rebuked by the angel that showed him the vision of the end times.  He was rebuked because he fell at the feet of the angel to worship him.  Rev. 19:10 reads:

10  And I fell at his feet to worship him.  And he
said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy fellow
servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony
of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus
                              is the spirit of prophecy.

Rev. 22:8-9 reads:

8  And I John saw these things, and I heard them.
And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship
before the feet of the angel which shewed me
                                these things.
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not:  for I am
thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets,
and of them which keep the sayings of this book:
                                worship God.

These passages, as noted above, appear to indicate that there exist angels, who are flesh and blood, like John, and who can be distinguished from spiritual angels.  The angel rebuked John because John fell down to worship the angel.  This was not to be.  The temptation to worship angels, apparently, was present in Judaism and Christianity in the time of Paul.  Paul states in Col.2:18 that it is the Creator, the incarnate Son (the Word), the second person of the Triune Godhead, who should be worshipped, not the creature.  He also states in 1 Cor. 6:3 that Christians are to judge the angels.  Although Paul must have meant spiritual angels here, and most readers of this passage assume that these angels are spiritual angels, it is possible that the angels meant in 1 Cor. 6:3 are material angels rather than spiritual angels.  If so, perhaps, these material angels, or throne angels, are the future material angels of man's advanced civilization, who will change allegiance from the Creator to Satan following man's discovery of mystical technology.  As noted previously, this probably will take place just prior to, or during, the day of the Lord (Isa. 2:10-22; Joel 2:1-11).  If, however, 1 Cor. 6:3 does refer to spiritual angels, these would appear to be the spiritual angels that served Satan in the past age and have continued to do so in the present age.  Presumably, there would be no reason to judge the spiritual angels that served the Creator in those ages.

Post 17. The Spiritual Aspect of Redeemed Man's Destiny as It Applies to the Future Age (The Creation, Volume I: Chapter 3, Subhead 5)

The Spiritual Aspect of Redeemed Man’s Destiny as It Applies to the Future Age (Post 17. CVIC3S5)

The authority for the spiritual aspect of redeemed man’s destiny as it applies to the future age is considered to be the passages of the Bible and the inspired sources.  Because Satan and the spiritual angels that served him in the present age will not dwell in the blessed part of the creation, where the kingdom of God will exist in the future age, this kingdom will be a kingdom of joy, righteousness, holiness, peace, and prosperity.   In addition, because Jesus Christ will reign over this kingdom, and he is the incarnate Son of God, and one with the Creator, in the person of the Son (the Word), the second person of the Triune Godhead, all things that are the will of the Father will be possible for him.  He, of course, will be capable of creating life, and it is possible he may delegate this creative authority to others.  The latter will then bring forth life on planets of star systems in galaxies of the changed matter universe that are suitable for this in the future age.  Based on the inspired sources, it appears that no life of any kind presently exists outside the Milky Way Galaxy.  Therefore, the kingdom of God, over which Jesus Christ will reign in the future age-though it may eventually be comprised of many smaller kingdoms-will be unique because it will be the source of created life throughout the changed matter universe in the age to come (Mt. 12:31-32).

The life that will be created in the changed matter universe in the future age, it is believed, will be accomplished by means of separate manifestations of the spoken word-one for each planet that is suitable for life-by the Son (the Word) or those delegated by him for this purpose.  After its initial creation, this life, through the guiding hand of the Creator, will subsequently evolve and differentiate into different lines of living entities on the planet.  One of these lines eventually will possess an intelligence suitable to receive a soul-spirit from the Creator.  The living entities of this line, now in possession of a soul-spirit nature, in a fundamental spiritual sense, probably will be similar to man on earth after the latter began to receive a soul-spirit, and possess a soul-spirit nature in the present age.  However, they will not know Satan and the angels that serve him, because the latter will not dwell in the kingdom of God in the future age.  Therefore, original sin may be impossible in that age.

The next stage of development of this line of living entities may involve the development of a civilization on the planet.  Then, according to the theory of the development of civilizations in galaxies, a planetary civilization, advanced civilization, and an advanced interstellar civilization should, eventually, follow.  Presumably, many civilizations of all kinds (except crisis civilizations) will exist in the kingdom of God in the future age.  All of these civilizations, or kingdoms, will serve Jesus Christ and will be part of the kingdom over which he will reign in that age, that is, the kingdom of God.  The above is a brief, imaginative account of how life may be created, evolve, receive soul-spirits, and rise to civilization on a planet of a stellar system of the kingdom of God in the future age.  Life, therefore, will be created in the changed matter universe in the future age, and this activity, as well as the nurturing and developing of this life, probably will be the most important activity of the kingdom of God in that age.

Although it is not contemplated that the living entities that originate in the kingdom of God in the future age will one day turn from Jesus Christ and the Creator and worship and serve another, this cannot be ruled out entirely.  However, it would be idle speculation to try to understand how this could occur.  If sin one day does make its appearance in the kingdom of God, then it is possible that those who sinned would have need of spiritual salvation, just as man and other living entities dwelling in the matter universe of the material realm did in the present age.  Then, perhaps, the Creator would provide a means for the salvation of these, also, just as he did for man and other living entities, who presently dwell, or once dwelled, in the matter universe in the present age.  However, without Satan and the angels that serve him, it is likely that original sin, and perhaps, all willful sin, will not exist in the kingdom of God in the future age and this sinless state will continue for ever and ever.

Therefore, the spiritual aspect of redeemed man’s destiny in the future age, it is believed, pertains to the latter’s service to Jesus Christ and the Creator in the kingdom of God in that age.  One of the most important activities that will involve redeemed man-particularly the church of Jesus Christ-in that age, it is believed, will be the creation, nurturing, and development of life throughout the changed matter universe.  This activity, and the goodness of the Creator associated with it, will contribute to the blessings of this age, and help make the age one where joy, righteousness, holiness, peace, and prosperity are not merely  rarely-attained ideals, but ideals that are normally experienced in the course of everyday living.

The church of Jesus Christ, it is believed, will exercise greater authority than other members of redeemed man or the spiritually saved living entities of the advanced interstellar civilizations in the kingdom of God in the future age.  The reason for this may be that man’s future advanced interstellar civilization was the last such civilization to develop in the present age of any of the advanced interstellar civilizations presently in existence.  Perhaps, in one context, the words of Jesus Christ found in Mt. 19:30 apply in this circumstance, "...and the last shall be first." Perhaps, the trials and tribulations that redeemed man endured on earth overcoming the temptations of Satan in the present age, prepared him to serve Jesus Christ more effectively than other saved living entities, in the kingdom of God in the future age.  Whatever the reason, the high esteem with which the Creator holds the church of Jesus Christ is revealed in several passages of the Bible.  In Rev. 19:7-9, the church is referred to as the “wife” of Jesus Christ.  Rev. 19:7-9 reads:

7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him:
for the marriage of Lamb is come, and his wife hath
                                  made herself ready.
8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed
in fine linen, clean and white:  for the fine linen is the
                                  righteousness of the saints.
9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which
are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.  And
he  saith to me, These are the true sayings of God.
Also, in Rev. 21:2, the church of Jesus Christ is referred to as the “bride” of Jesus Christ. Rev.21:2  reads:
2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming
down  from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride
       adorned for her husband.
The terms, wife and bride, referred to above, suggest that a special relationship exists between Jesus Christ and those members of redeemed mankind that comprise the church of Jesus Christ.  This special relationship exists in the present age, and, it is believed, will continue to exist in the future age, as well.  Although it is not known, for certain, in what ways the church will serve their Lord in the kingdom of God in the future age, other than possibly being instrumental in the creation, nurturing, and development of life, the contributions of the church of Jesus Christ in the kingdom of God in that age, most certainly, will be many.
In conclusion, the destiny of redeemed man, as it pertains to the future age, appears to possess both a spiritual aspect and a technological aspect.  The spiritual aspect derives its authority from the passages of the Bible and the divinely inspired words associated with these. The technological aspect derives its authority from the inspired sources, and the divinely inspired symbolism associated with these.  This may explain why the passages of the Bible, though their inspired words are believed to originate with the Creator and pertain to redeemed man’s destiny in the future age,  primarily, are concerned with man’s spiritual destiny, rather than his technological destiny; while the inspired sources, though their inspired symbolism is believed to originate with the Creator, also, and pertain to redeemed man’s destiny in the future age, also, primarily, are concerned with man’s technological destiny, rather than his spiritual destiny.
