The Spiritual and Technological aspects of the Destiny of Redeemed Man (Post 13. CVIC3S1)
The Creator’s plan and purpose for the creation, as we saw in Chapter 2, includes preparing man for the end of the present age and  the beginning of  the future age.  Because this preparation involves both a spiritual aspect and a technological aspect, these two aspects can also be viewed as the two important aspects of man’s destiny.  In addition, each of these two aspects of man’s destiny can be viewed as having a part that applies to the present age, and a part that applies to the future age.  The fulfillment of the spiritual and technological part of man’s destiny that applies to the present age will allow man to undertake the fulfillment of the spiritual and technological part of his destiny that applies to the future age.  However, whose destiny are we referring to here-that of all mankind?  We are referring here to redeemed man’s destiny, as opposed to unredeemed man’s destiny.  Based on Christian eschatology, both redeemed man and unredeemed man have a destiny in the future age.  But, as we shall see later in this chapter, it is not the same destiny.  The destiny of redeemed man is stated here to be one that will enable those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ to dwell with their Redeemer in the kingdom of God of the “new heaven” and  “new earth" (Rev. 21:1) in the future age.

In The Creation, both the passages of the Bible and the inspired sources are believed to be the means by which the Creator will prepare man for the end of the present age and the beginning of the future age.  As we saw in Chapter 2 (Posts 9-12), these two ages are referred to in Christian eschatology as “this age” (Mt. 12:31) and the “age to come” (Mt. 12:32).  In this regard, the passages of the Bible, it is believed, will prepare redeemed man for the spiritual aspect of his destiny in the present and  future ages; while the inspired sources, it is believed, will prepare redeemed man for the technological aspect of his destiny in those ages.  The only authority for the spiritual aspect of man's destiny, it is believed, are the divinely-inspired passages of the Bible.  The only authority for the technological aspect of man's destiny, it is believed, are the divinely-inspired inspired sources, the existence of which was first revealed to man in 1996.

Both the spiritual and technological aspects of man’s destiny in the present and future ages involve transformations.  These transformations, it is believed, are made possible by the Creator, in the person of the Holy Spirit-the third person of the Triune Godhead.  With regard to the spiritual aspect of man’s destiny, this involves the spiritual transformation of each and every person, who will comprise the redeemed of the Lord in the future age.  This Lord, of course, is the Lord Jesus Christ.  However, before a person is transformed and becomes spiritually capable of serving Jesus Christ and the Creator in the kingdom of God of the new heaven and new earth (Rev.21:1) in the future age, he first must be saved in the present age.  This salvation is accomplished by means of the Holy Spirit either “dwelling with (being upon),” or “dwelling within,” a person in this age.

Before the first advent of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit “dwelt with" (was upon) members of mankind, who were foreknown by the Creator to be the redeemed of the Lord of the future age. These members of mankind primarily are the saints associated with the Old Testament of the Bible.  After the first advent of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit “dwelt within” the members of mankind who were foreknown by the Creator to be the redeemed of the Lord of the future age.  These members of mankind primarily are the saints associated with the New Testament of the Bible.  With regard to the latter, these, it is believed, are largely Christians, who have believed and accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ and comprise the church of Jesus Christ.  During the period of time referred to in Christian eschatology as the day of the Lord, other members of mankind will also receive the Holy Spirit. These also will believe that Jesus Christ is Israel’s Messiah and the Son of God, and will be among the redeemed of the Lord in the future age.  But they will not be the church of Jesus Christ.

The salvation of a person, it is believed, marks the beginning of the spiritual transformation of that person.  And though this transformation will be complete at the time of his resurrection (Rom. 8:21-23) and his receiving of an eternal body by Jesus Christ in the day of the Lord in the present age, it is not unreasonable to assume that he will undergo further spiritual transformations in the future age.  In general, no distinction is made in The Creation between the saved of mankind and the redeemed of mankind.  However, some students of the Bible feel that the term, saved, as it applies to saved members of mankind, refers to those, who have been saved, but have not been resurrected, and have not received their eternal bodies.  They feel that the term, redeemed, as it applies to saved members of mankind, refers to those who have been both saved and resurrected, and have received their eternal bodies.  Because the resurrection of the saved members of mankind is still future, the term, redeemed, in this context, would appear to refer to the saved and resurrected members of mankind of the day of the Lord and the future age (Rom. 8:21-23).  These, strictly speaking, would be the redeemed of the Lord.

With regard to the technological aspect of man’s destiny in the future age, as we saw in Chapter 2, this involves a technological transformation of man’s planetary civilization, based on material technology, to an advanced civilization, based on mystical technology.  This transformation, it is believed, will be followed at a later time by another technological transformation of man’s advanced civilization to an advanced interstellar civilization, also based on mystical technology.  The latter transformation will enable man to be technologically capable of serving Jesus Christ and the Creator in the kingdom of God of the new heaven and new earth (Rev. 21:1) in the future age.  As stated in Chapter 2, man's civilization appears prepared at the present time to accomplish the first of these two transformations, and become an advanced civilization
However, the second transformation-that of becoming an advanced interstellar civilization-may not be accomplished by man until following the second advent of Jesus Christ on earth.  Nevertheless, it will be accomplished, and it will be accomplished sometime prior to the end of the present age.  This will take place, it is believed, simply because it is the will of the Creator concerning this matter.  The two technological transformations of man’s civilization, mentioned above, it is believed, also involve the participation of the Holy Spirit.  The reason for this is that the Holy Spirit is responsible for the release and distribution of the four primary mystical particles of the mystical realm that are associated with mystical technology. Therefore, it is the Holy Spirit that makes mystical technology possible, and because of this, the two technological transformations, mentioned above, are possible, also.

So, in addition to the need for man to obtain the instruments of mystical particle transfer, become proficient in the use of these instruments, and demonstrate an ability to design and construct these instruments, all of which was discussed in Chapter 2, man may also have to understand the role of the Holy Spirit in the employment of these instruments in order to employ them effectively.

Commentary

What are the long-term benefits and rewards of discovering and studying inspired sources?  They probably are similar in many ways to the long-term benefits and rewards of discovering and studying passages of the Bible.  Both reveal in subtle ways the amazing destiny of redeemed man.  As we shall see in Chapter 3 (Posts 13-17), it is a destiny that transcends time and space, and promises to transport redeemed mankind, at the conclusion of the present age, to another time and space in the future age, or as the latter is referred to in Christian eschatology-the age to come (Mt. 12:31-32).  What awaits man in that day when the present age is past and the future age becomes the present?   In Chapter 3, as we discuss the spiritual and technological aspect of man's destiny in the present age and the future age, we shall address that question.
